Providing For and Preventing Slaughter-Bound Horses on the Palouse. Some rescue groups require a fee for donation, whereas others act as retirement homes and a monthly or yearly fee is paid for each horse you retire. Still other groups only accept horses of a particular breed or ability. It is up to the owner to research which agency is best for their horse. Is my horse ready for adoption? Are you able to provide safe housing? Are you able to provide proper nutrition? Yakima, WA 989.
